Workshop Series “How-to-write a LIFE Proposal”

The LIFE Cyclamen Project is organising a series of Workshops on “How-to-write a LIFE Proposal” (Sub-programme Environment/Climate Action) on the following dates: February 28th, March 27th and May 8th, 2020.

 

The workshops will be held in Nicosia, at Cleopatra Hotel, and they are brought to you as part of the support and counseling the LIFE Cyclamen Project offers to potential LIFE Programme beneficiaries. Click here to register now!

 

What are these Workshops about?

 

The Workshops will include interactive presentations and training on the following key issues:

  • Locating the environmental problem to target
  • Listing actions
  • Clarifying EU added value
  • Measuring the impact and outcome
  • Describing the consortium structure.

 

Why should you participate?

 

The participants will progressively work on formulating an idea and the various aspects of a LIFE Proposal. By the end of this series of Workshops the participants will be able to write their own LIFE Proposal.

 

The specific objectives of the Workshops are:

  1. Improving the subject-specific knowledge requirements of the application forms, so that participants are able to know precisely the elements and data that are crucial to the eligibility of their project and how they are reflected in an application
  2. Strengthening the capacity of potential beneficiaries in organising a proposal and completing the application so that they can use all the necessary tools and take the necessary actions for completing the application and lastly,
  3. Enabling participants to recognise when an idea can be transformed into a LIFE project and be active in the preparation and implementation process of such a project.

 

When

 

The workshops are scheduled as follows:

  • Friday, February 28th, 09:00-16:00 
    Identify the environmental problem targeted; indicate related thematic priorities and project topics; design actions to tackle causes of and impacts to the environmental problem; identify the environmental impact in a qualitative and quantitative way.

  • Friday, March 27th, 11:00-12:00 (Online workshop) 
    Clarify the EU added value; identify risks and constraints and clarify the mitigation strategy; describe the consortium structure and how stakeholders and the target audience can be involved in the project.

  • Friday, May 8th, 2020, 11:00-13:00 – The workshop will be held online. Register now to get the access code!
