The LIFE Cyclamen Team participated at the 13th Corporate Social Responsibility Conference, which took place in Nicosia on May 27th, 2021.
The Team had set up an information stand at the Conference, where participants could be informed about the LIFE Programme and how they could benefit from this funding instrument. Moreover, they were informed about the services the LIFE Cyclamen Team can offer to them free of charge.
During the Conference guest speakers from Cyprus and abroad shared their experience and insights regarding CSR best practices. Topics discussed included:
- business transparence,
- equal treatment and equal pay between men and women,
- sustainable investment and
- the importance of adopting environmental strategies for sustainable development.
In addition, during the event a ceremony was held to grant the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Awards 2021 to Cypriot companies, which exceled in this field.
The Conference was organised under the auspices of the Department of Environment, the National Contact Point of the LIFE Programme in Cyprus.
