The third Workshop from our series on “How-to-write a LIFE Proposal” took place online, in an adapted webinar format, on Friday, May 8th 2020.
In this webinar we focused on the Financial elements of a LIFE Proposal and on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
In the first part of the webinar we looked at the different financial elements required to fill in a full LIFE Proposal. We then went step-by-step through all the elements on e-Proposal, while highlighting important points and common pitfalls, which could be avoided.
Following the financials, we focused on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which are qualitative and quantitative outcome indicators for LIFE projects. It was pointed out that a set of Key Project-level Indicators has been developed in order to measure positive effects on the environment, climate change and socio-economic impacts of LIFE projects. These indicators reflect the parameters used under EU legislation wherever possible. Context parameters and economic indicators complement the indicators. This information also serves to measure and illustrate the performance of the LIFE Programme.
